In July of 2014 the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) issued a Notice of Federally Qualified Health Center Look-A-Like (FQHC-LAL) designation to San Joaquin County for the San Joaquin County Clinics (SJCC). That designation marked the culmination of a unique public private partnership between San Joaquin General Hospital and SJCC, a private non-profit organization.
SJCC operates eight clinics in San Joaquin County for people of all ages, ethnicity and cultures. Many of those we serve have limited resources and face transportation, language and financial barriers to accessing healthcare.
Our goal is to provide quality, comprehensive and affordable Primary Medical, Pediatrics, Maternity and Women’s Health. We accept Medi-Cal, Medicare and other insurance coverage. For patients without insurance that meet income guidelines, we offer a sliding discount program.
To improve the health status of our diverse community by providing quality healthcare that is affordable, accessible, comprehensive and culturally sensitive regardless of the ability to pay.
Our community’s health and well-being are our highest priority.
